How can we best combine the knowledge learnt from vernacular architecture techniques with the developments of new technologies to design affordable housing solutions?
Design needs constant innovation enforcing our ability to have strategic thinking crossed with other disciplines knowledge. We have enriched our discipline with the most advanced knowledge in quantum physics, computational thinking and space mathematics, but also we have to be close to people: shorten the distances to psychology, team working, sociology and communication.
Deep thinking philosophy give us a way to envision our challenges for a new sustainable century. From studies in biologically modified materials [1] to the most groundbreaking computational construction [2], we still always need to revisit our roots and cultural backgrounds.

m4 is a one-year material and experimental architectural research that ends in a 7 hours assembly prototype. This work made in 2016-2017 allowed us to understand materials compositions, loads, self-building possibilities and human management needs.
Since I started architecture study I tried to develop new ways to improve the connection between architecture and people. Communication and graphic design was a smart and effective tool but need deep thinking, symbolic and material innovation to achieve new ways for a social interpretation and appropriation of spaces.
In a society that gets more and more narrow, rational and computational, we need to enforce teamwork, people and amplified thinking making design disciplines stronger. As in a synaptic process, innovation is on making new connections: between vernacular and unique, and between culture, humans, matter and space.
